Our mission is simple: fulfill every unmet need in our community, from small to large. We believe making our community a better place to live means equipping its members with the resources they need to do their best. F.U.N. brings the community together to live out our mission.
One of our biggest areas of focus is economic instability. Inequity has long been a significant issue in the United States. The COVID-19 pandemic has only shed a brighter light on many of its effects on food security, housing, and employment. Currently, 30 to 40 million Americans are at risk of losing their homes due to the current housing crisis.
When you are dealing with the loss of employment and stressful money matters, the last thing you should have to worry about is keeping a roof over your head. At F.U.N., we help members of our community stay in their current homes or find suitable housing in the same general area through our forbearance program. Our forbearance program works directly with lending institutions.
There is no exercise better for the heart than reaching down and lifting people up.
